Educating Seniors and Families

This education module provides a PowerPoint slide deck to be used to teach seniors and families the basics in fall prevention education and can be customized by adding in your audience need. Suggested uses include group teachings in; retirement homes, church groups, adult day programs, exercise programs and fall prevention clinics.

This education module is for you if:

  • You teach a group of seniors.
  • Are a health care professional or trained facilitator.
  • You are comfortable answering questions regarding fall prevention.
  • You know and can teach the Fall Prevention Risk Screening tool.
