To kick off this year’s rounds, we are proud to present “Dementia Decoded: The Acute Care Dementia Strategy at The Ottawa Hospital.”

This groundbreaking initiative, developed collaboratively by The Ottawa Hospital and the RGPEO, is one of Canada’s first strategies of its kind. It provides a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach to dementia care within an acute hospital setting. The strategy focuses on early identification, proactive interventions, and the management of functional decline, all while aiming to ensure the sustainability of the health-care system.
